Certified Yoga Instructor Job at Space Spa & Wellness
Space Spa & Wellness is expanding and we are looking for creative warm-hearted yoga instructors to join our team. We are a boutique wellness space that offers spa treatments such as massages, facials and energy treatments and now movement.
Movement is another element that we believe will help people on their wellness journey. It is in our roots, the space was formerly known as LALALAND and we offered many types of yoga, vinyasa, restorative, yin, slow flows and others. A few years after we opened LALALAND we opened Space Spa & Wellness above our studio space. Shortly after we decided to meld both worlds to create one cohesive space that targeted the mind, body and spirit.
Our studio space can host about 12-14 guests creating an intimate setting for our yoga classes.
For us, this has cultivated a warm friendly environment and community among our instructors and guests.
It is important for us that a movement class be treated like an experience. We expect our instructors to set the tone for their class the moment they walk through the door to create a friendly uplifting atmosphere.
Instructor Responsibilities:
- Design creative classes that challenge students at their level
- Create fun playlists to go with class
- Promote your class via social media / word of mouth
- Arrive 30 minutes prior to class to set up space
- Go over schedule to see who is attending class
- Check guests in
- Have new guests fill out paperwork
- Process payments
- Maintain cleanliness of space
- Close space down after class
We are looking for individuals who are motivated and driven to achieve their own success. We offer an attendance based pay that starts at $25 and we give +$4 for every student after the first. Earning potential ranges between $25 - $77 per class. There is room for further growth based on class attendance and length of employment.
Job Requirements:
- 200HR-RYT
- 1 year of teaching experience
Personal Insurance is highly recommended
