Chainsaw Operator
Greene Lumber in Davenport NY is looking to add a Chainsaw Operator to the team. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our growing team with a world class lumber company. The position's primary responsibilities include operating a chainsaw preparing logs for the sawmill.
Chainsaw Operator Requirements (including but not limited to):
- Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Chainsaw operation.
- Scaling, trimming and preparing logs.
- Operating handheld data recording device.
- Strong communication skills and familiarity with working in a team-based environment.
Chainsaw Operator Experience:
- Prefer a candidate with previous experience operating a chainsaw
- Must be self motivated and organized
- Willingness to work in hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
- Must maintain a valid New York driver's license
Chainsaw Operator Pay & Benefits:
- Pay is Dependent on Experience
- Full Plan of Benefits after probationary period
