The Channel Sales Specialist (CSS) is responsible for growing Digital, Ink Jet, plate, CTP, UWS, chemistry, and service revenue through assigned Reseller partners. The CSS oversees the development and execution of the Reseller Annual Commitment Plan, strategic business development, reseller training and product education, sales tools and tactics, quarterly promotions/programs and monthly sales pipeline management. They also provide educational training, market research, competitive evaluations/tactics, mentoring, and direction to dealer sales staff, management, and ownership in order to improve sales effectiveness, back office efficiencies and net new business development and growth.

They also provide educational training, market research, competitive evaluations/tactics, mentoring, and direction to dealer sales staff, management, and ownership in order to improve sales effectiveness, back office efficiencies and net new business development and growth.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Educate and Train Kodak’s Resellers on current and new products and solutions.
- Coordinate the Reseller’s sales pipeline through monthly reviews and discussions of opportunity close rates and pipeline health.
- Identify opportunities to increase the sales effectiveness of assigned Resellers.
- Be the primary communication conduit between Kodak and Reseller Partners.
- Manage conflict between Reseller and Kodak sales teams.
- Ensure that Kodak TSMs are engaged with local Reseller sales teams in prospecting, sales development, and pipeline management.
- Develop Annual Dealer Commitment Plans for each Reseller. Schedule quarterly reviews to discuss progress towards annual goals and implement corrective actions and programs when necessary.
- Work with dealer purchasing teams to manage and optimize stocking levels, inventory turns, and distribution logistics.
- Coordinate forecasting sessions between Resellers and Kodak’s supply chain and logistics teams
- Manage travel, sales, and entertainment budgets.
- Respond quickly to Reseller opportunities, concerns, questions, and inquiries.
- Track account churn and monitor Resellers win/loss ratio of new/lost accounts.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
- Excellent Organizational/multi-task management.
- Aptitude to understand technology – Hardware, Software, Professional Services
- Social media experience – Experience with social media tools (Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook for business)
- Outgoing personality – Must be comfortable and have the ability to communicate with customers/prospects.
- Excellent verbal, listening and written communications skills.
- Has worked in a team environment and is a team player who is coachable.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
- Strong willingness to commit to and adhere to program/project deadlines.
- Takes criticism as constructive feedback. Maintains positive outlook during adversity and highly competitive situations and responds to objections in a persuasive and productive manner.
