**NEW WEEKEND SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL** All staff receive an additional $3/hr for weekend hours worked! Overnight shift differential of $1.50/hr and an extra $2/hour for being on time!
Position Summary:
- Assures resident care according to the accepted standards.
- Observes, assesses and reports resident condition/changes and documents.
- Administers medication/treatments as prescribed.
- Receives, transcribes and implements physician’s order.
- Implements and evaluates care plans.
- Identifies and secures equipment supplies
- Directs and oversees subordinates
- Participates in duty assignment
- Organizes and coordinates subordinates, job tasks and time allotments.
- Oversees and monitors functions and activities of subordinate staff.
- Monitors infection control compliance.
- Investigates and documents accidents and incidents.
Typical Knowledge and Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school and a current, valid license or registration (LPN) in the state of where employed in required.
- Nursing experience in a long term care facility is preferred.
- Supervisory experience is desirable.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Functional literacy in English is required.
