Day to day:

The Chemist 1 will analyze products by primary methodology (e.g. GC, HPLC, titrations, etc.) in support of the rapid technology program (e.g. NIR), as well as, develop an in-depth understanding of specific systems.

The success of the Chemist I position is measured in impact to customer happiness, waste reduction, cost minimization, performance of verification systems, and accuracy of results reported.

Assess quality parameters and systems including cross-checks, raw materials, calibration, maintenance, procedures, food safety, training, and auditing.

Provide process improvement support, specialized testing, training, audit systems, analyze data, identify trends, troubleshoot, corrective action, and communication regarding processing data.

Requirements:

Preferred 1-3 years' experience in lab environment.
Preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
