Chief Financial Officer

The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the accounting, financial compliance, and financial
reporting procedures of the agency. With the agency’s CEO, the CFO will provide
regular financial projections to help the CEO plan for the future. The CFO will also create and maintain
a system of internal controls to ensure the appropriate use of funds across all the agency’s financial
entities.

At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery by providing quality behavioral health services and supports.

Responsibilities

· Join the agency senior leadership team to manage and optimize a growing and diverse
revenue stream.

· Oversees the accounting, financial compliance, annual audits, and reporting procedures of the agency.

· Recommend and implements accounting policies and procedures in accordance with state regulations.

· Provide regular financial projections to help the CEO plan for the future. The CFO will also create and maintain a system of internal controls to ensure the appropriate use of funds across all the agency’s entities.

· Ensure fiscal efficiency, accuracy, reporting, compliance, and record keeping for agency,

· Manage and reconcile all agency accounting and general ledgers across all entities,

· Establish and maintain yearly budget to actuals for agency leadership.

· Supervises Accounting and Financial Staff, including training, delegation of duties, and monitoring their performance and effectiveness.

· Create financial reports for weekly leadership team meetings and all grant reporting.

Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (preferred) and/or master’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Five years of professional level experience in accounting and/or a closely related fiscal activity, three years of which in a management/supervisory role.

Extensive experience in financial compliance for state agencies and ensure annual audit is completed.

  • Expert experience with accounting systems, technology, KPI reporting, and business acumen.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and accounting

software (QuickBooks etc.).

  • High level of professional discretion, trustworthiness, confidentiality.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 per year
