The Chief of Staff acts as a confidant and advisor to the executive, coordinating and implementing various strategic initiatives both internal and external to the organization. This role works collaboratively with executive officers and the staff of the Stride Portfolio companies handling matters on behalf of the executive leader. This visible position requires excellent communication skills a high level of professionalism.

  • Establish collaborative partnerships with internal and external clients to assess and recommend initiatives, programs, and solutions as needed. Manage
  • Manage an active roster of critical projects & initiatives across the Stride Portfolio companies.
  • Ensure executive is prepared and briefed for meetings and speaking engagements.
  • Determine key performance indicators across the Stride Portfolio companies, establishing weekly dashboards to measure performance. Act
  • Act as main internal point of contact with HR and Finance Business partners on departmental budgets, expenses, and annual staffing needs.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of the Data-Action-Outcome framework across the portfolio companies.
  • Working with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards goals & objectives.
  • Overseeing strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with other departments recognizing dependencies and commitment to strategic goals, projects, and programming.
  • Planning and implementation of projects, including specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
  • Develop and maintain project tracking and forecasting models to proactively predict issues initiatives and provide on-demand updates.
  • Planning, coordinating, and leading meetings and workshops.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five (5) years of related experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in the online education industry
  • Experience in go-to-market strategies for B2B & B2C
  • Skillset in Data Analytics
  • MS 365; Web proficiency
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Ability to clear required background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field from a four-year college or university

  • This is a hybrid position in the MD/VA area and will require weekly work in the office, preferably Tuesday & Wednesday and home-based the remainder of the week.
