Statesboro First United Methodist Church is looking for a custodian to work on a team that will provide a clean space within our facilities, focusing on worship and preschool. In addition, the housekeeper will restock supplies that are needed for meetings, worship, and other activities.
The core duties and responsibilities revolve around supporting others. On any given day, you may perform a variety of tasks, such as:
- Clean church facilities, including preschool rooms and facilities, according to daily schedule.
- Provide supplies for events/meetings, including Sunday and Wednesday evening activities.
- Assist the Preschool cook with kitchen duties as appropriate.
- Assist church groups with event/meeting preparation, set up and clean up, i.e., making coffee, utilizing tablecloths and kitchen supplies, washing used dishes, etc.
- Assist with special events as needed.
This is a full-time position of 40 hours/week, and compensation will be commensurate with experience. To apply, provide a resume and a list of references.
