Job Description

Resolution & Recovery Background The Dodd-Frank Act requires systemically important financial institutions, including JPMorgan, to submit a Group Resolution Plan ("the Title I Resolution Plan") to the US Regulatory Agencies (the Federal Reserve Bank and Federal Deposit Insurance Corp) every two years. This submission alternates between a full submission of all required elements and a targeted plan comprising only core elements. The Resolution Plan needs to demonstrate how JPM would be resolved in an orderly way in the event of the failure of the group. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) also requires the submission of a separate Resolution Plan for the firm's Insured Depository Institution (IDI) - JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A on a specified cadence. Recovery Planning Guidelines issued by the FRB and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (the OCC) require the submission of an annual Group Recovery Plan, which demonstrates how the firm would recover if it were to suffer significant decreases in capital and liquidity as a result of a severe crisis event. Each of these plans is a strategic priority for the firm. Position Description This role provides a unique opportunity to manage key large-scale regulatory deliverables for the CIB and to establish a solid platform, profile, and brand. The position involves significant opportunity to engage with and present to senior management and requires effective communication skills to manage these interactions. This position will involve a need for fast-paced delivery in order to manage the CIB components of a set of demanding and time-pressured regulatory deliverables. Within the role you will therefore need to act quickly to ensure issues are identified, raised, and resolved to meet designated timelines. You will be responsible for driving high standards and best practices across the various deliverables associated with plan development and review. Role Responsibilities

  • Assess risks and escalate issues, as appropriate
  • Continue to evolve and enhance the governance and operating model for Plan submissions
