We are in search for an entry level Civil Engineer who is either an Assistant Resident Engineer or someone who acts as a Resident Engineer and works on roads and bridge construction projects. We are also in search of a candidate who will assist with the preparation of plans, special provisions and contract document for MCDOT pavement preservation and maintenance projects.

The salary range annually for the Civil Engineer I is $58,773 - $70,512 This is an hourly paid position with the possibility to work OT. The hourly range is $29.55 - $35.46 depending on qualifications.

What you will bring to the table-

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction inspection or related field.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Driver’s license
• Must reside in the State of Illinois
