Civil Engineering Technician Job at Stockwell
Stockwell Engineers is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Technician to support our full-service engineering, landscape architecture and land surveying firm in Sioux Falls, SD. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in using CADD to prepare drawings and other technical documents.
Responsibilities:
Support engineer and survey staff with the preparation of:
- Concept/Preliminary plans.
- Plan and profile; street, sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer.
- Erosion control plans.
- Grading plans.
- Site plans.
- Cross sections.
- Details.
- Topographic surveys.
- Boundary surveys.
- Plats.
Qualifications:
- Associates or technical degree in civil engineering technology or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Enthusiastic.
- Proficient in Microstation a plus.
