Zurich is currently looking for a Sr Claims Recovery Salvage Specialist to work out of the Overland Park, KS office. Under close supervision, works with the claim and total loss professional to assess potential total loss in order to drive high quality outcomes. Determines optimum method for recovery and disposal involving the auto and property lines of business. Investigates and brings the highest return on salvage recoveries through negotiation and expense management involving storage and associated vendor cost.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Subrogation/Salvage area

OR

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Subrogation/Salvage area

AND

• Knowledge of auto physical damage, state title laws, and disposal methods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have automotive industry experience
• Title knowledge is a plus

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
