The Evans Network of Companies is looking for a Fleet Manager - Transportation to join our team in located in Langhorne, PA!

The Fleet Manager will facilitate the maintenance for over 3,000 trailers and chassis for the Evans Network of Companies (ENOC). The focus of this role is to improve overall maintenance process, provide cost control, and oversight of equipment for the full ENOC network.

Essential Job Duties

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance, accident prevention, and on-road repair network programs
• Research, propose, implement, and maintain maintenance software to track repairs, financials, and proper agent charges
• Schedule regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensure strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
• Present value-add insight to ENOC agents; provide reports and tools to manage and reduce cost to the independent contractors on billback recovery items
• Develop and maintain vendor and service provider relationships for maintenance
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Transport laws and regulations.
• Oversee all DOT reporting – work with safety on violations and reduction to zero
• Review, approve, and follow through on on all repairs
• Manage and direct national tire accounts
• Build rebate tiers
• Work directly with loss control on accidents; participate in claim resolution
• Track various maintenance-related metrics, propose, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage GPS health
• Collaborate with Chassis Team on best practices
• Occasional travel, up to 15%
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of transportation industry knowledge, including class 8 truck and trailer maintenance, DOT, OSHA, and fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements
• Technical knowledge of trailers and chassis repairs
• Excellent customer service, communication, and negotiation skills
• Proficient in MS Office, emphasis in Excel and strong typing skills
• Strong proficiency using fleet maintenance software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
• Strong knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards (VMRS)
• Strong mathematical aptitude
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English in a professional manner
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 15%

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field
• American Trucking Associations (ATA)/ Transportation Management Center (TMC) participation
