Goodwill Industries of NW Ohio has immediate openings for cleaning staff. This position is located at the traveling motorist rest stop facility in Bowling Green, Ohio on
I-75 expressway and operates 24 hours per day. Reliable transportation and good work ethic necessary. Must be self-motivated, work well alone as well as on teams and show capacity to perform other duties as assigned by management.

Now Hiring first shift 6:30am – 2:30 p.m. and second shift 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. scheduled 24 to 32 hours per week. This position is scheduled every other weekend with at least one Saturday or Sunday every other week.

Minimum Education/Training:

• Must be 18 years of age and possess a H.S. diploma or GED equivalent.
• Able to read, understand, and follow written instructions, and comprehend verbal instructions given in English.

Minimum Work Experience:

• Professional commercial cleaning experience and experience performing landscaping preferred but not required.

Pre-employment Requirements:

• Able to pass criminal background check.

Physical Effort Required:

• Physically agile, bending, lifting, stooping and stretching.
• Ability to work with hands to perform cleaning responsibilities.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry and maneuver objects weighing up to 15+ lbs.
• Ability to use sweeping motions to use an upright broom and a push broom.
• Able to use a 16 – 24 ounce wet mop.
• Able to push and pull a vacuum cleaner.
• Able to work 8 hours per shift.
• Able to stand for long periods, kneel and reach.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining clean restrooms, and sidewalks.
• Responsible for removing and disposing of trash and liter.
• Responsible for sweeping and mopping floors.
• Responsible for vacuuming rugs.

• Responsible for cleaning lobby area.
• Assists with the supervision of employees to provide all janitorial services.
• Assists in maintaining a safe environment for all team members and traveling public through visual inspection of interior and exterior areas during shift.

Pay: $12.00 per hour. Direct Deposit or Cash Card Pay options. Bi-weekly paycheck.
