The candidate will be a team player, who is organized, able to multitask, can work independently and is a motivated self-starter. Main duties include typing, organizing files, maintaining a filing system, updating forms and documents, data entry/spreadsheets, creating reports, creating flyers, collating materials, taking notes and meeting minutes, creating invoices/requests for payments, forming expense ledgers, and other administrative duties. Must have previous clerical experience. Great written and communication skills are required. This position is part time. Clerical Assistant Requirements and Skills:
· Provide clerical and some administrative support
· Provide polite and professional communication
· Assist in the preparation and generation of reports
· Filing, typing, copying, scanning, etc.
· Data entry
· Assist with office organization and filing
· Assist with report preparation; gathering data and information
· Maintain and assist with the development of a filing system
· Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
· Maintain computer and manual filing systems
· Photocopy and print out documents
· Prepare invoices and requests for payments
· Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
· Sort, and categorize mail
· Research and create presentations
· Take accurate minutes of meetings
· Take notes
· Will work mainly out of the Oakland office, but will occasionally work at our offices in Alameda and Berkeley
· Must be very familiar with word, excel spreadsheets, Power Point
· Social Media: Creating/updating posts on Instagram, Facebook, website
· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results to support the mission of the organization

This position may require sitting for long periods of time.
Days/Hours: Flexible schedule allows you to work up to 5 days per week at 20-30 hours per week (Between Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm).
