With the purchase of a new location that is being renovated to become a state-of-the-art autism treatment center, the Knapp Center is ready to welcome more BCBAs and BCaBAs to our team!

The Knapp Center for Childhood Development is looking to welcome additional Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA's) and Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA's) to our growing team! If you are credentialed or are currently pursuing your BCBA/BCaBA credential, we would love to meet with you! We are interested in learning more about your career goals and how the Knapp Center can support you in reaching those goals.

The Knapp Center is a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence located in Boardman, OH, providing an evidence-based ABA program to individuals ages 2-22, diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. The Knapp Center is currently inviting candidates to apply for the BCBA/BCaBA position within our Early Intervention Program, working with children ages 1-6 years old.

Within our new state-of-the-art autism center, you will provide supervisory services in a place abundant with resources (i.e. published curriculum, toy lending library, video-gaming/VR rooms to be used as R+, spacious gyms and classrooms, sensory nooks for R+, smartboards and new technology to enhance learning, etc.) and you will join an interdisciplinary team that works together to help the child reach their full potential (i.e. Psychologists, BCBA/BCaBAs, ST, OT, Reading Specialists).

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in psychology, education, or related field (Bachelor's degree if BCaBA)
• Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCaBA- or be eligible to sit for the exam (completed all supervision requirements)
• Certification as a Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA) or be eligible to apply for the certification (BCBA certificants)
• Ability to relocate to Youngstown, OH or within an hour radius

*Those who have completed or are near completing their fieldwork hours but are not yet certified should also apply. The Knapp Center has an internship to support those pursuing their BCBA/BCaBA credential.
