- Hours: Monday- Friday, 8am – 4:30pm CST
What you will need:
- Education: High school diploma required. College degree preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years medical office or programmatic experience preferred
- Skills:
What you will do: Provide administrative support for the Department of Orthopaedics, including but not limited to the physicians, director, practice managers and staff.
- Knowledge and application of NorthShore policies and procedures that apply to job and area of responsibility.
- Corporate Expectations
- General office duties including answering phones, faxes, mail, greeting visitors, ordering supplies, scanning, filing, sending department emails, scheduling appointments, etc.
- Schedules phone and virtual meetings and prepares agenda/paperwork for departmental meetings
- Provide helpful and accurate information to patients, physicians, and others in a non-patient facing setting
- Compiles timely reports and data tracking for Orthopaedic group using Excel spreadsheets
- Collects pertinent data consistently and in a timely fashion to be used for financial analysis of Orthopaedic group
- Obtaining physician signatures as needed
- Submitting CME or any special requests (new equipment) as needed
- Monitors office expenses and reviews accounting reports for accuracy
- Ensures expenditure requisitions are completed to reconcile invoices for the Division
- Orient, train, mentor, and cross-cover co-workers as necessary
- Other duties as assigned by Practice Manager
