RMA is seeking a full time Clinical Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist for our San Diego location.

This position requires collaborating with clinical team, phlebotomy, greeting patients, activating patient files, and for providing support and care to our patients during their fertility treatments. We are looking for someone that can work full-time Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm.

How You'll Contribute (Responsibilities):

• Phlebotomy: Specimen collection and processing, record keeping of all labs sent to outside laboratories, contact laboratories regarding specimens as necessary, post lab results to EMR as needed.
• Assist Providers: Assist during ultrasounds and office procedures.
• Supply Ordering and stocking of Clinical Supplies: order clinical supplies as needed.
• Gather Health History: Confirm cycle specific information, confirm current medications and allergies, record in EMR.
• Sterilization: Sanitize ultrasound probes, disinfect exam rooms and phlebotomy lab, sterilize all instruments in autoclave.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, and calling for assistance from other health care support personnel when appropriate.
• Manages rooming and patient flow; escorts patient to and from examining rooms, and directs or escorts patient to the front desk upon the completion of the patient’s appointment or treatment.
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping all patient information confidential.
• Follows OSHA guidelines.

What You'll Bring:

Skills

• Medical Office experience preferred
• Strong phlebotomy skills
• Team player, willing to jump in when needed.
• Professionalism and strong customer service skills is a must
• Proven ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer. Knowledge of Medical software program(s) preferred, specifically Artemis.
• Detailed oriented
• Enjoys high level of patient interaction

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Completion of a formal MA program with Certification
• Background in women's health preferred
