Clinical Program Coordinator Job at Inova Health System
Inova Fairfax Behavioral Health Team has a great opportunity for a full-time Clinical Program Coordinator. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and team building skills in order to develop staff. You will hire and manage service line personnel in order to ensure effectiveness, efficient operation and oversight. Maintaining expert knowledge in specific field and identifying national trends as they apply to the population they serve, in order to establish needs and program priorities, is required. Your ability to manage the program in order to ensure maximum effectiveness, including development, organization, scheduling, marketing, budgeting and implementing programs efficiently is of vital importance.
This is a Monday -Friday 8:30am – 5pm position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides training, education and in-services for staff to empower them to perform independently and effectively.
- Coordinates operations meetings to ensure a high level of satisfaction between physicians and department liaisons.
- Supervises staff in a professional and competent manner and counsels, mentors and develops staff to maintain program effectiveness, promote efficiency, enhance morale and provide a positive working environment.
- Provides direction for clinical practice through staff development and education specific to service.
Qualifications :
Experience:
- Two (2) years in developing, implementing and coordinating health programs.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Nursing, health, education, social work, public administration or other related fields.
