Role and Responsibilities
Assumes responsibility and accountability for participating as part of the clinical information system team, performing liaison duties associated with the implementation, support, and maintenance for all aspects of the clinical information system. This position provides continual education to facility employees and physicians, problem tracking, resolution, on-going enhancement requests; active participation in system testing, workflow redesign, change management.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSURE, TRAINING & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS (If Applicable)
Bachelor's Degree required
Direct patient care experience preferred.
Extensive working knowledge of clinical information systems (Cerner preferred) showing progressively increasing responsibilities.
Minimum of three years information services or super-user experience.
Ability to work with end users to determine software specifications, hardware requirements and process improvement workflows.
Comfortable and confident interacting with physicians and clinicians at all levels.
Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Exhibits or has performed in a leadership role.
Clinical knowledge required. Appropriate licensure preferred.

Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital is located on 11 acres in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, a small suburban town outside of Philadelphia. Our mental health facility provides a richly therapeutic and comfortable environment for children, teens and adults seeking treatment for mental illness and behavioral disorders. We provide around the clock psychiatric need assessments and inpatient acute hospitalization or referral to alternate level of care, when indicated. Brooke Glen provides outreach services to families and members of the community by facilitating education and awareness about psychological issues and challenges faced by those suffering with mental illness.
