Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Coordinator, Clinical Trials - Mineola.

In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for all aspects of clinical trials per study protocol and will be responsible for enrolling and retaining patients in all assigned in and out patient trials.He/she will be responsible for following all FDA/GCP and ICH guidelines and regulations.He/she will be responsible and accountable for establishing and maintaining standards per the CTC SOPs. Under Principal Investigator supervision,He/she analyzes and interprets clinical research data.He/she may assist with protocol submissions, database enhancements, and feasibility assessments.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage patients within protocol parameters, to ensure patient safety. Conducts clinical testing, develops protocols and assures all protocol procedures are approved. Determine patient visit window. Determine protocol violations. Performs data collection and submissions. Completes case report forms. Reports all adverse events.
    • Comply with all Food Drug Administration Good Clinical Practice guidelines and regulations.
    • Responsible for thorough documentation of all study related requirements, anticipate areas of difficulties and obtain data according to the need of each study.
    • Communicates proactively with sponsors, patients, principal investigators and other coordinators.
    • Responsible for the timely completion of Case Report Forms, clear and concise documentation of source documents to support data. Data entry into various programs supported by Sponsors.
    • Attend various Coordinators meetings, traveling time required and overnight stay in some cases.
    • Maintains responsibility for recruiting, enrolling and retaining study participants in assigned trials.
    • Assess and evaluated patient entry criteria. Attend various lectures, fairs and other related activities.
    • Work with Sponsors, medical monitors and other personnel who are instrumental during and upon completions of studies.
    • Coordinate monitor visits with principal investigator for initiation and close out site visits.
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    • Coordinates all aspects of clinical trials per study requirements. Determines participant study visits and schedules clinic visits as per protocol. Exercises decision support for study qualification.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School or GED. Excellent communication skills (both oral & written), interpersonal, detail orientation, and organization skills required. Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Applications required. Demonstrate knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree In related field (Currently enrolled in program). 1 - 2 years Research experience.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64,887.12 - $74,944.67 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
