Upland Hills Health is providing a scholarship opportunity for students that will be graduating from SWTC in the Certified Nursing Aide course between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2023. This opportunity will provide reimbursement for associated costs to the CNA program and onboarding to Upland Hills Health. The purpose is to help with a shortage of professionals in the healthcare workforce. Through this scholarship opportunity we are hoping to alleviate some of the burden to employees, their families and community members that wish to further their education and be employed by an organization that sustains a positive working culture. We are looking for 12 students to be accepted in the Certified Nursing Assistant class through Southwest Wisconsin Technical College (SWTC). The scholarship would cover the cost of tuition, textbooks, certification testing, and application fee while in the CNA course. Once on board with UHH employment, the reimbursement would cover a workshop training, BLS certification, pre-employment health screenings, a uniform stipend of $100 and a logo’d UHH bag.

Participant Qualifications:
- Be enrolled in the upcoming class through Southwest Wisconsin Technical College (SWTC).
- Become Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) within 3 months of completing class
- Would need to work a minimum of 1,000 hours or 18 months of service for UHH following completion of the CNA class and receiving certification.
- Certified Nursing Assistant Clinical Ladder/Bonus Program available
- Meet all necessary employment requirements such as background check, health requirements, reference checks, etc.
- Reimbursement is not provided until after hire with UHH for 30 days
- Not eligible for any other reimbursement programs
