Description:

To assist in managing Wealth & Asset Management Operations, including trust accounting systems, employee benefits operations, and the tax and court accounting functions and ensures that the department is in compliance with the state and federal governing bodies

PROVIDE ENHANCED CLIENT SERVICE

Ensures that all Wealth & Asset related functions are coordinated as to provide separation of duties, prudent controls, and back-up. Support the Operations Manager in providing the proper documentation to the Regulating bodies (FDIC, PA Dept of Banking) for Examination completion. Assists in the Training of personnel in other areas of trust on the systems, cash flow, and trust procedures.

Collaborates with team members to ensure timely processing of requests. Utilizes professional communication skills when working both with co-workers and clients. Employs new and more efficient methods to operational processes.

PROMOTE DIGITAL AWARENESS

Initiates or assists in projects concerned with the development of new or the enhancement of digitalization of products, systems, procedures, and policies. Possesses and displays a positive approach in managing and embracing change. Continually evaluates processes and procedures to effectively use technology for efficiencies and accuracy

FOCUS ON ACCURACY AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Balances in-house as well as custodial accounts. Moves or approves the movement of funds between and among the trust department, clearing banks, depositories and clients trust and demand accounts. Monitors and tracks new/terminating business.

SEEK PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Takes advantage of relevant training and learning opportunities to further increase product knowledge. Looks for opportunities to improve upon processes and procedures. Stays up to date on current retirement account and investment account regulations and audit practices. Voluntarily participates in elective courses, webinars, and other online learning. Circumstantial field related certifications may be available that would require annual travel.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. A BS in Business Administration or similar education preferred. Minimum of 3 years of financial services or related experience (5 years’ experience preferred) Successful completion of required background checks is required. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to use telephone systems and possess good computer skills including email, internet and intranet use. Prior experience or the ability to learn word processing and office related software, core deposit and trust accounting system, and any other computer programs for job function.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This position operates in a professional office environment with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions with others. Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
