About the Job

Our team is growing, and Marcon Metal USA (www.marconmetal.com) is hiring second shift CNC Machine Operators to join our dynamic team based out of Ferndale, WA, fabricating our custom-designed structural steel assemblies.

Duties include:

• Set up and operate a CNC related to steel (Drill Saw, Tube Laser, or Burn Table).
• Read, analyze, and interpret shop drawings and other documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Operate a CNC plasma/torch to cut parts from metal to supply raw material parts to be fabricated into the product throughout the facility.
• Operate basic measuring equipment (tape measure or calipers)
• Responsible for identifying material by grade and size.
• Safe operation of material handling equipment (forklift & overhead crane).
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental procedures, policies, and practices.
• Other duties as required.

Shift available:

• 2nd (Afternoon) Shift - Monday to Thursday (Four 10-Hour shifts with 30-minute unpaid lunch) - 3:15 pm to 1:45 am.

Skills and Requirements:

• Computer skills to operate production software.
• The high degree of attention to detail.
• Previous CNC experience.
• Experience with steel fabrication techniques, steel grades, and shapes.
• Experience maximizing the utilization of materials and minimizing waste of materials.
