CNC Operator Level 2 Job at Polygon Company

Polygon Composites is seeking a Level 2 CNC Operator to join our team of talented team members. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our organization produces quality part per customer specifications. This successful candidate will be a highly skilled professional, with excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
We are offering a $3 shift differential for second shift!!
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set-up and operate CNC Equipment including Chuckers, Autoloaders and Machining Center
- Ability to perform complex set-ups, make offset adjustments and change tooling & fixtures
- Perform detailed inspection of parts per customer specifications
- Troubleshoot out of tolerance conditions or program failures
- Perform daily maintenance on equipment
- Follow detail instructions noted on the shop routers and/or work instructions.
- Identify status of materials in process
- Report equipment related problems to management
- Ability to train new CNC operators
- Performs other duties assigned.

- Required to understand basic math including percentages, ratios and proportions.

- Ability to read/understand measuring devices (gauges and calipers).
