COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Conklin Metal Industries is a distributor of all types of sheet metal, HVAC, and duct fabrication supplies. Ourfounding dates to 1874 and is now in its fourth generation as a family owned and operated business. We service the entire southeastern U.S. out of fifteen (15) warehouses. Our customers include sheet metalcontractors, mechanical contractors, ductfabricators, residential/multi-family new construction contractors,and HVAC contractors who specialize in service and replacements. We are a one stop shop for every component used in the construction and installation of a commercial orresidential HVAC Duct system. This includes the sheet metal for the rectangular or spiral/round duct, plus allthe materials to connect, fasten, insulate, attenuate sound, control vibration, reinforce, direct air flow,provide access, and ultimately hang and seal. We also stock the widest array of sheet metal formingmachinery in the southeast.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Operate Red Bud Sheeting Line
2) Ensure good housekeeping practices are carried out in job areas and grounds.
3) Effectively communicate with the Coil Line team and other departments to ensure line up time, process control and improvements.
4) Ensure proper crane operations and servicing of equipment.
Qualifications:
1) Quality, detail, and safety oriented; mechanically inclined and self-motivated
2) Good insight to team dynamics with strong verbal communication skills and computer literate
3) Ability to work without direct supervision
4) High School diploma or equivalent, college degree a plus
5) Experience using ERP systems (we use P21)
