Collections Specialist Job at Corrigan Krause
Description: Corrigan Krause is currently looking for a full-time Collection Specialist for one of our clients, RELAM, who is located in a south east-side suburb of Cleveland. The Collection Specialist will be key in maintaining accounts receivables, managing payment timelines, and create effective collections policies. This is a full-time, hybrid position once fully adjusted to the position. Great team environment and offers growth and development. Requirements: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while maintaining and improving customer relations
- Resolve accounts receivable issues and manage payment timeliness
- Develop and implement effective collection techniques
- Identify issues attributing to account delinquencies and discuss them with management
- Review credit applications for new customers
- Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of collections experience required
- Applicable Associate and/or Bachelor’s degree (e.g., business, finance, accounting) preferred.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills in order to build and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships
- Strong MS Excel skills, including formulas, lookups and pivot tables is a must. NetSuite experience preferred
- The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure/time constraint
- The ability to multi-task and effectively deal with change is required
- The position requires the candidate to be self-motivated and to maintain a high standard for quality work in the areas of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good follow through and ability to meet deadline is key
