Pay Rate:

$143,000 - $190,000

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual short-term incentive plan.


The Job You Will Perform:

  • Build out commercialization plans, timing, and proformas for specialty absorbent and synthetic alternative fiber opportunities
  • Lead Go-to-Market strategies for paper board applications and other alternate segments including:
    • Direct sales prospecting
    • Build list of highest potential customers / machines / segments
  • Manage commercial engagements through various stages and channels including:
    • Direct
    • Agent/Merchant
    • Regional sales team (augment existing sales resources)
    • Regional sales team -> agent/merchant
  • Lead sales market ready products & commercialization efforts new products
  • Manage pricing analytics and recommend mechanisms that maximizes short/long term value
  • Promote the sale of Products to customers in the Territory in compliance with the terms of this Agreement and the mutually developed Annual Sales Plan
  • Monitor sales transactions, drive/assist in maintaining strong relationships between International Paper and customers globally
  • Stay informed about customer needs and address gaps by translating and engaging the broader organization to take appropriate action.
  • Assist with developing or updating marketing plans.
  • Provide information on business and supply conditions across the global regions to ensure the business reacts and adapts to value changes
  • Global travel required and “global” working hours while in any particular time zone
