Communications Coordinator Job at Rocky Mount Preparatory School
School Webmasters is looking for a part-time Communications Coordinator (CC) for Rocky Mount Prep. The CC is the on-site liaison between Rocky Mount Prep and School Webmasters. He or she will help to gather necessary information from the school(s) regarding its communication needs, spearhead the timely collection and dissemination of communication, and assist in keeping the client’s website and social media current and updated.

Sample Tasks:
Work closely with School Webmasters as the on-site coordinator to integrate website and social media updates, news, and success stories Coordinate website maintenance with the School Webmasters team by contributing to layout and content (providing updates for pictures, articles, stories, and events) Work closely with Rocky Mount Prep administration and staff to address items related to the job description Gather, compose, coordinate, and share news and marketing efforts through social media, website updates, and local media communications Schedule administrator and staff input for news and school stories by interviewing and assisting where needed with the goal being to turn everyday events at the school into stories worthy of sharing with the community Develop, distribute, and maintain print and digital materials, including newsletters, brochures, and videos Develop and manage project, campaigns, and events that will assist school administrators in achieving the school’s communication goals Attend events and create content (photography and social coverage) to help others recognize the value of what goes on here at Rocky Mount Prep Review projects, campaigns, and events to report outcomes and make future recommendations
About the Job Compensation: DOE $13–15 per hour / flexible 15 hours per week The Communications Coordinator (CC) will be an employee of PR4 Schools, a division of School Webmasters, LLC., but will also work closely with a designated contact at Rocky Mount Prep. School Webmasters will provide consulting, training, strategy, and materials to help the CC achieve the school’s communications and public relations goals for the year.
