Job Description


THE POSITION
:

The Manager, Corporate Communications plays a critical role in leading and managing significant external communication and reputation programs for the organization. This includes but is not limited to awards and thought leadership management, external public relations support, memberships and association activation, and supporting the company’s diversity & inclusion communication programs.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, detailed orientated team player who can take complex programs and deliver clear, concise messages and recommendations to appropriate audiences. A person who challenges the status quo and brings innovative solutions and great attention to detail will thrive in this role to help connect important updates to the company’s global workforce.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of EVERSANA’s third-party awards and recognition program, including identifying, submitting, monitoring and activating award wins to support the growing organization’s diverse teams and best-in-class services.
  • Manage the company’s memberships and associations, working with stakeholders across different teams to maximize each investment and demonstrate annual return on investments.
  • Support the organization’s public relations efforts, including support drafting, developing and distributing press releases, media monitoring and monthly PR reporting.
  • Support the company’s ongoing diversity, equity & inclusion communication efforts in partnership with the company’s DE&I leads to inform, educate and inspire employees about the diversity that exists across EVERSANA.
  • Provide day-to-day management of company reputation channels, including but not limited to Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn and other social networks.
  • Serve as a strategic storyteller to find and highlight stories of employees across key parts of the business, including but not limited intranet stories, external blog posts and more.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
  • All other duties as assigned

EXPECTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Ability to travel up to 5%
  • 40 Hours per week

Qualifications


MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Detailed orientated, project management skilled professional with experience working in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Communications, Marketing, Organizational Communication or Public Relations preferred
  • 4-6+ years of experience in a corporate communication role at a multi-site environment preferred.
  • Excellence in written and verbal communication, including fluency in Microsoft programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences or other healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Experiencing managing company awards and thought leadership programs, including supporting and working in PR/Media relations
  • Strong working knowledge of life science, biotech and pharmaceutical award segments is ideal but not required.
  • Experiencing working with and measuring the impact of membership and associations
  • Experience supporting diversity & inclusion communications at a multi-national organization is preferred.
  • Multi-media and video development experience is a strong plus but not required.
  • Experience working in SharePoint, Wordpress and internal or external communication platforms ideal

Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
