As a communications strategist, you will work with a variety of public-sector clients in the nonprofit, government, corporate social impact and foundation landscapes. You will learn client organizations’ desired outcomes and create and package world-class communication offerings to provide the thought leadership they seek from Gallup. Your success in the role will be dependent on your network building, astute influencing, media connections, insightful data-driven storytelling, and artful orchestration of your own and others’ contributions to meet tight publishing deadlines.
Your communication talents will set the stage for changing how people think, how policies are created, and how governments, organizations and businesses are run. You will be responsible for media pitching, writing press releases, overseeing social media strategies and launch events, and aligning with clients on a strategic communication plan. You will be collaborating with world-class internal partners to deliver on our valued clients’ vision.

You can juggle multiple projects and prioritize based on what is most important to the business and our communications strategy. You have a highly productive workstyle — you produce high-volume, quality work while integrating timelines and others' contributions to seamlessly meet all deadlines with exceptional results.
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in PR, journalism, communications or marketing preferred
- At least three years of experience in journalism/PR required
- Experience working with reporters and established media contacts required
- Experience with social impact research findings highly desired
- Experience in PR, media relations, media software and MS Office preferred
- Eligibility to work in the United States required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
