Job Duties include full-time, supervisory level telework in California.

Under the direction of the Executive Vice Chancellor of Institutional Supports and Success, and the Vice Chancellor, the Director of Affordable Student Housing will be an important member of the College Finance and Facilities Planning Division management team. The Director of Affordable Student Housing Student Housing will lead the administration of a student-centered Affordable Student Housing program and related student housing matters. The Director will lead a team that reviews affordable student housing grant applications and makes recommendations to management, develops student housing capital outlay budget change proposals, develops professional development tools and resources, prepares written communications and presentations on student housing matters for various stakeholder groups, and monitors project allocations and appropriations. In addition, the position is responsible for compliance of the community colleges student housing functions, provides general technical assistance and guidance to community college districts, assists districts with comprehensive student housing planning, and monitors projects for compliance with affordable student housing policies and standards.

Working Conditions

Ability to supervise staff and their work in a remote work setting
