Community Development Staff Needed Job at Shared Support Maryland
A middle-aged nonverbal man in Baltimore County is seeking a Community Development Supports staff to help him access his community. The employer is an avid western and old tv show fanatic! He also loves any music with a fast beat. A person with similar interests would be a fantastic candidate for this position.
The most qualified candidate will have experience supporting people with disabilities to be active in their community, facilitating relationships, support day to day independence, and experience providing personal care. They will also be patient, extroverted, conversational, communicative, and organized.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am-4:30 pm. The pay rate is $18-20 per hour with the opportunity of a pay increase after 90 days and a good evaluation.
Access to reliable transportation is required (with mileage reimbursed).
CPR and First Aid certifications are also required.
