The responsibility of the Community Manager is to rent apartments, assist the Community Director with tasks, and oversee the pod so that all is in order and working with the utmost efficiency. This position is responsible to keep the occupancy rate of the apartment community at or about 97%; treats everyone as an honored guest; deals with resident requests and complaints promptly and follows through to see that the community needs are met.
Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred: 1 or more years of property related leasing experience.
**This position will be covering our development property, Heritage which will start pre-leasing very soon!**

This positions primary responsibility is leasing apartments and handling resident issues.
- Assist Community Director with hosting and preparing community-based events.
- Respond to telephone inquiries in a timely manner.
- Schedule appointments with prospective residents.
- Greet prospects and current residents in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Provide tours which includes showing apartments and amenity areas of the properties.
- Attempt to close the sale by getting all prospective clients to sign a lease.
- Handle resident service issues in a patient manner and include Community Director on these issues when needed.
- Work with the Community Director to achieve property financial and operational objectives as defined by TLC Properties.
- Ensure that the interiors and exteriors of the communities meet appearance standards.
- Work with the Community Director to ensure that all property activities are conducted in compliance with all local, state, and federal employment, housing, safety, landlord /tenant, and real estate laws.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
