Caregiver Positions in St. Charles County

Responsibilities May Include

• Overnight: remain alert to ensure safety and comfort of client, including personal care and transfer assistance as needed.
• Support clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Prepare meals as needed
• Run errands for clients (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Perform light housekeeping (vacuuming, laundry, tidying up living areas, etc.)
• Provide pleasant conversation and companionship
• Follow protocol and procedures for reporting incidents
• Adhere to health and safety standards

Skills

• Proven experience as a caregiver (professional and/or personal)
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic
• Physically able to perform light housekeeping tasks; bending, squatting, reaching; occasional lifting of 10-25 lbs
• Experience with Hoyer lift, gait/transfer belt a plus (training provided)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
