Summary
The Compliance Assistant I is responsible for assisting the Compliance Manager in ensuring that the company is in compliance with all Tribal and other applicable governmental agency’s laws, rules and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities *to include the following:

  • Run daily reports.
  • Format daily reports.
  • Audit W-2G and 1042-S forms.
  • File W-2G, 1042-S, 1099-MISC forms in office binders.
  • Assist with the preparation of the Title 31 training handbook.
  • File Title 31 Acknowledgement forms.
  • Remove Title 31 Acknowledgement forms for termed employees.
  • Run Oasis reports for ATM Specialist.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age.

Qualifications
Proficient in basic computer skills. Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), Outlook and 10 key. Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, establish and meet deadlines. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education and/or Experience*
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Proficient in basic computer skills.

Language Skills*
Ability to read technical procedures. Ability to write business correspondence, documentation and routine procedures.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply basic math and algebra skills.

Reasoning Ability*
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations*
Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission. Must obtain Title 31 certification as trained by Rolling Hills Casino.

Physical Demands*
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. Must be able to sit for the duration of shift. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
