The ISO Compliance Manager is responsible for several duties at Presence from Innovation (PFI), you will perform various tasks necessary to maintain the QMS, investigate non-conformances, and monitor operations on the plant floor. Leads a team of quality assurance technicians.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the company’s ISO system as the designated “Management Representative” to ensure compliance to requirements and maintenance of system documentation.
- Identify and implement effective quality systems at the FG/EM supplier sites to support the development, qualification, and on-going manufacturing of products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements
- Execute against established internal audit procedures
- Provides management and tactical direction for the global Quality Systems and Compliance functions
- Establishes and maintains policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations and standards including compliance with all Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and European Union Medical Device Directives (MDD) all other applicable global regulatory requirements
- Manages and leads ISO audits and is the main point of contact with our third-party assessment firm.
- Ensures our global quality systems strategy adds value to the organization through risk reduction, cost improvement and budgetary responsibility
- Assesses/modifies quality systems to address changing Regulations or industry standard, providing regulatory interpretation and guidance where required
- Identify and document processes and develop standard operating procedures (SOP's) or Best Practice Documents (BPD's) as required
- Support planning and execution of Internal Quality compliance audits and Supplier Audits
- Ensure that there are processes in place to monitor and measure all activities related to quality assurance performance improvement
- Develop, measure, and report key quality metrics to drive quality and efficiency
- Works directly with customers on review of nonconforming product to include issuance and management of corrective actions (8D’s), as required, and visits to the customer facilities to report on actions taken to address quality concerns.
- Works with suppliers on incoming product quality issues to include issuance of supplier corrective actions, as necessary.
- Manages the company’s Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to ensure completion and submission of full PPAP packages to customers.
- Ensures the dimensional review of incoming supplier product is completed as part of the supplier PPAP process and provides feedback on results.
- Reviews customer documentation to include Supplier Quality Manuals and Packaging Guidelines; incorporates customer requirements into plant system documentation to ensure compliance.
- Ensures required testing (i.e. dimensional, material, chemical) is completed per customer requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five years of experience in ISO 9001 compliance management
- Ten years of experience in Quality Management (preferred)
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must have complete understanding of the ISO 9001 standard.
- Excellent communication, problem solving skills, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Alertness, creativity, judgment, initiative, speaking ability, mathematical ability, problem solving ability.
- Communication—Communicates well both verbally and in writing, creates accurate and punctual reports, delivers presentations, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills.
Travel Requirements
· Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the year domestically and internationally with little to no notice to meet the needs of production and customer requirements.

· Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, balancing, stooping, reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, acuity-far, acuity-near, depth perception and field of vision.
Physical Demands
· May require a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. May require lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
