The Curtis lab is focused on the development and application of innovative experimental and computational approaches to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and earlier detection of cancer. Towards this end, our research aims to in elucidate the evolutionary dynamics of tumor progression, to discover novel therapeutic targets, and to delineate the genotype to phenotype map in cancer. A unifying theme of our research is to exploit ‘omic’ data derived from clinically annotated samples, as well as novel 3D cell culture systems, coupled with robust computational frameworks in order to advance our understanding of cancer systems biology and the field of precision medicine. The Curtis lab is seeking a Computational Technician to independently and collaboratively perform computational analysis and modeling supporting research projects in the Curtis lab focused on modeling tumor progression and evolution in human using clinical samples and also organoids. This cutting-edge program includes analysis of genomic, transcriptomic and epigenomic data using computationally reproduceable pipelines and workflows.
