Trident Construction Corporation (TCC) has immediate opening for the position of Construction Carpenter in the Sacramento, Yuba City areas. Minimum of 2 years construction background, excellent knowledge of tool & equipment use.

Job Description:

Construction carpenter with 2-5 years minimum experience in the construction trade. Basic equipment operation skills preferred. Looking for a fast learner who can think on their feet, read construction drawings and problem solve.

Responsibilities:

· General Construction work: using hand tools, measuring, leveling, assembling etc.

· Work with crew members to complete projects within established time frames.

· Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on safety.

· Execute according to construction drawings and specifications

· Willingness to learn new things and be left alone on job sites from time to time

· Other duties as assigned.

Educational, professional and/or other requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Required clearance of a background check and clean DMV record.

· MUST have reliable transporatation.

· Must be able to work overtime, have flexible hours, and travel to job-sites.

· Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision

· Experience complying with OHSA safety requirements and regulations.

· Professional appearance and excellent customer service.

· Great attention to detail.

· Good Attendance.

· Maintain valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

· Basic mechanical experience/knowledge

Physical Requirements:

· Must have full range or mobility in upper and lower body; ability to work in various positions and environments, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time.

· Ability to lift, pull and push materials and equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

· Working conditions require being exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

Upon acceptance of offer of employment, must pass criminal background screening, drug test and driving record review.

Desired Qualifications:

· Minimum of 2 years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) experience in construction and sitework

· General construction knowledge (reading of plans and specs)

· Construction Equipment experience is a plus
