Job Responsibilities

· Loading, unloading materials.

· Build and remove temporary containments.

· Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.

· Prepare and perform general clean up on or around job sites that might include setting up/taking down ladders, scaffolding and other temporary structures.

· Keep work site organized and clean.

· Help carpenters, craftworkers, etc. as needed.

· Control traffic at job sites, as well as, set up markers, cones, and barricades.

· Perform all of the above functions in a safe manner in order to avoid personal injury or equipment damage.

· Must work quickly, productively, and safely without error and consistently meet the production goals as set by the Foreman, Superintendent or Project Manager.

Technical Skills

· Demonstrate a working knowledge of construction and safety measures

· Blue Print Reading, Carpentry, Concrete, Containment, Demo, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Metal Stud Framing, etc. are a plus

Job Requirements

· Must be at least 18 years old

· Current valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation required

· Forklift certification preferred

· Fall Arrest certification preferred

· OSHA 10 preferred

· Framing/Drywall experience preferred

Physical Activity

This position requires a full range of motion (bending, stooping, reaching), lifting up to 50 pounds (occasionally lift and carry 100 lbs. with help), in a fast-paced environment. Some project environments might also require the use of ear plugs.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
