Construction Worker Job Summary

We have an immediate opening for a skilled, experienced and reliable Labor Construction Worker. You will work on a variety of construction projects performing daily general tasks. These tasks include loading and unloading materials, setting up and tear down permanent structures, installing framing, decks, docks and boatlifts, along with other daily tasks, maintenance and repairs. You must also be prepared to work in different types of weather conditions. We primarily work within the Hudson area. Must have reliable transportation and working cell phone. Learn and use Paychex Flex Time Keeping to manage your Timesheet. Complete Safety Training Courses and follow all Safety Regulations. Required to have a Current Driver's License (Florida DMV issued perferred). Capable of following detailed directions from the Supervisors.

Our ideal candidate must have marine construction experience, but we are willing to train the right person with construction knowledge and work history.

We offer Holiday Pay and PTO after 90 days and 401K after working a year with our company.

Construction Work Duties and Responsibilities:

· Preparing materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site or warehouse

· Follow Supervisor’s instructions on construction plans for project(s)

· Follow company polices when operating tools, equipment and vehicles

· Adhere to all health and safety regulations. Use proper Personal Protective Equipment

· Complete assigned training and assist with maintaining a safe working enviroment

· Clean and clear debris on job site and warehouse.

· Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly

· Must report to work in work-appropriate attire wearing Company Logo Attire

· Maintain appropriate oral and bodily hygiene. Hair/Facial hair should be clean & neat

Construction Worker Requirements and Qualifications

· High school degree or equivalent; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus

· Experience in marine construction preferred

· Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds

· Able to work independently or as an active member of a team

· Excellent communication and email skills a must

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
