Lone Mountain Land Company (LMLC) was formed by private equity firm CrossHarbor Capital Partners to manage the planning, entitlement, building, marketing, and sales of premier resort communities in and around Big Sky, Montana. LMLC is comprised of some of the world’s leading real estate professionals, who together are creating some of the most desirable and successful resort communities, including Spanish Peaks, Moonlight Basin, and Big Sky Town Center.

LMLC has an estimated $2B project pipeline within Spanish Peaks and Moonlight Basin based on projects that are currently in the design phase. These projects include a variety of year-round club amenities; multiple ski villages; and a full array of residential products, from custom homesites to single-family built products, townhomes, and stacked flats.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Senior Project Manager and input from VP of Construction and other key executives. The position of Project Manager will assist in the daily operations of the project to include collaboration with the entire project team to ensure all projects are completed within budget and schedule parameters and that construction work is performed in accordance with the design specifications as well as meeting Lone Mountain Land Company's quality standards.

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership, management, and primary point of contact for communications for all phases of construction project(s) from conception to completion.
  • Obtain all necessary bids for the project changes.
  • Regularly analyze actual project costs against budgeted cost and take corrective action when variances occur.
  • Ensure contractors meet contractual conditions.
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients.
  • Manage and prepare all project documentation.
  • Responsible for proactively scheduling and planning to ensure goals are met on schedule.
  • Requisition supplies and materials such as FF & E, OSE, to complete project.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality to ensure that privileged and/or proprietary information is adequately safeguarded against disclosure.
  • Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of four-year degree program in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, CET or equivalent, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Thorough understanding of the materials and methods used in the construction
  • Thorough knowledge of Blue Beam or equivalent and ability to develop/ manage project plan management, workflows, work plans, and schedules
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes
  • Valid driver’s license.
