CONSTRUCTION - WARRANTY TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Fernmoor Properties, LLC. is seeking candidates for the position of Construction -Warranty Technician for our Delaware Division. The Warranty Technician is responsible for proactively solving customer issues in assigned communities after the closing of the home and completion of all work orders. The communities you would be working in are located in Lewes, Milton, Millsboro, & Dagsboro.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete assigned warranty service requests within the guidelines of company policy
- Perform punch out work upon completion of the home
- Interact will homeowners, co-workers, & management in a professional manner
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to diplomatically and effectively handle stressful customer situations, including conflict resolution
- General knowledge of Residential Construction
- Ability to complete minor home repairs (paint, drywall, cabinet adjustments etc.)
- Basic computer skills
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently
- Customer oriented, outgoing, dependable & ethical
- Hands-on repair skills
- Problem solving abilities with excellent follow-up skills
- Reliable vehicle & valid driver’s license
Requirements:
- Construction background
- Previous experience in the homebuilding industry preferred
- Experience with punch out services and quality control a plus
Pre-Employment Background check required.
**Salary based on experience**
