Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Consulting Technical Analysist you will also be responsible to perform complex to advanced Unified Communications telephony support to support Unified Communication voice and video systems and equipment. You will also serve as the Subject Matter Expert for telephony issues to support division and facility staff for all unified communications issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIVISON CONSULTING TECHNICAL ANALYST:


  • You will meet with facility-level IT teams, as needed, to align strategy, services, and coordinate implementation activities
  • Ensure that the design and use of technology adhere to established division and HCA policies, procedures, and standards
  • Assist the director in the development of the budget and develops project cost estimates for division and/or facilities
  • You will create an environment that encourages information sharing, team-based resolutions, cross-training, and process improvement within the area and across organizational boundaries
  • Drive standardization and documentation relating to Facility Technical Analyst roles. Establishes role benchmarks.
  • Log and track incident SLAs; reviews incident and request tracking databases; comparative reporting; dashboard creation and monitoring
  • You will implement and support the broadest range of facility-based IT&S equipment, including but not limited to network equipment, servers, terminals, personal computers, printers, cabling, related software products.
  • Communicate and escalate incidents and requests beyond scope of ability to senior service resources
  • Investigate hardware problems and performs minor system hardware and communication connection repairs
  • Maintain and protect confidentiality with regard to all aspects of patient care and employee information
  • You will install and troubleshoot unified communication applications; internal/external servers, network hardware, and related infrastructure.
  • Providing Move, Adds, and Changes (MACs) for telephony request to include programming and deploying of end points as well as software groups, system parameters, and class of service.
  • Supporting Voice Mail (Unity Connections) support for routine individual user requests as well as hunt groups, call vectors, automatic call distribution groups (ACD's).
  • You will respond to complex and technical user service requests/inquiries that involve problem recognition, research, isolation and resolution. Collaborate with other teams in designing solutions to solve complex pro.
  • On-call requirement 1-week rotation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Must be able to drive to assigned sites to complete work (must provide proof of insurance)
  • Telecommunication experience required.
  • Greenbelt Preferred

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree
