Responsibilities:
- Identifying underpayment variances and overpayments for services provided
- Analyze multiple Payer Contracts (Commercial, MCO/Medicaid)
- Apply all aspects of payer contracts including language, rates, and limitations to reimbursement analyses
- Ensure rates and coverages are loaded into and managed within EMRs
- Obtain insurance payment information and compare reimbursement, not limited to EOBs, contracts, payer policies, patient benefits, etc.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical billing, reimbursement, and third-party payer regulations and medical terminology
- 1-2 years working analyzing data
- Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and coordinate workload with a high degree of proficiency and accuracy
- Must have high proficiency in excel and data analysis
