Are you Contract Specialist / Manager with experience in the aerospace industry, looking to join a well-established, industry leading business where you will play a key part managing your own department and working on multi-million dollar contracts that are crucial to the company?

On offer is a diverse and exciting role where you will report directly to the CFO and have two direct reports of your own, you will be crucial to the success of the business and play a vital part in their growth and expansion plans by negotiating important contracts with key federal clients.

This specialist company design, engineer, field test and manufacture complex defense, aviation and aerospace equipment that is supplied to a range of customers globally. They are an industry leader in their field and have been established for over 100 years. Due to their increased work load they are now looking to add a Contract Manager to the team.

This is a great opportunity to manage your own department with two contract administrators across two sites in the US. You will be the go to point of contact at the business for negotiating, reviewing and managing multi-million dollar contracts with both new and existing clients, working hand in hand with other management leaders to gain more favorable contracts for the business. You will also be heavily involved in ensuring compliance with import and export regulations such as l TAR, EAR and OFAC. This position requires a good working knowledge of FAR & DFARS and experience negotiating federal contracts.

This position would suit a Contract Specialist / Manager from an aerospace background looking to work for a well established industry leader, manage their own department and work on large multi-million dollar contracts.

• Managing a department with two direct reports
