WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Contracts Manager, you will represent the company with a variety of customers on transactional contracts and agreements. As the liaison between Quartus and the customer, you will propose, prepare, and negotiate contracts that provide creative solutions to solve unique problems and minimize risk.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Lead negotiations and exercise independent judgment in managing all phases of a variety of contracts and customer interactions
• Identify and articulate key deal points and conduct transactional risk assessment and mitigation to prepare for negotiation
• Quickly comprehend business deals and effectively tailor the deals to better meet company objectives.
• Negotiate and draft Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Software License Agreements, and Managed Service Agreements with a keen eye to recognize and minimize company risk
• Communicate with various levels of internal management on contractual issues and offerings to develop and coordinate business positions and contractual terms
• Examine proposal and contract requirements in detail, including verification of basis of estimates, assumptions, contingencies, compliance, risk mitigation and associated performance related dependencies

LOCATION

Position is based on site in San Diego, CA.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field. MBA is a plus.
• 8+ years of contract management experience in commercial and government contracting
• Expertise in commercial and government contracting practices, proposal compliance, terms and conditions, and support of major government and commercial contracts.
• Must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)
