Controls Engineer Job at Phillips Corporation
Phillips Corporation, a leading supplier of manufacturing technology and services to the US Government is looking for an experience CNC Controls Engineer to lead our machine maintenance program at Norfolk Navy Shipyard. The ideal leader will be knowledgeable in developing and editing PLC programs, troubleshooting ladder logic, and be able to complete hands-on repairs, as well as conduct training, and supervise maintenance of CNC equipment.
In this key role, you will:
- Conduct routine maintenance on production equipment.
- Assess and report on the condition and readiness of production equipment.
- Provide technical oversight and training to maintenance personnel.
- Create and maintain electronic service reports.
- Work with the Program Manager and other sections as needed.
The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator with expertise in multiple areas electrical and electronic control of a variety of of metal cutting and fabrication equipment.
Due to the nature of this position, you must be a US citizen or green card holder.
