Purpose of your position:
The primary purpose of your job description is to prepare food in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations; facility policies and procedures; and as may be directed by the Dietitian, Dietary Supervisor, and/or Administrator to assure that quality food service is provided at all times. Also responsible to supervise and direct the overall operation of the dietary department.
Hours of Work:
The Dietary Department is staffed seven days a week. Day cook's shift is 5:45 A.M. - 1:15 P.M. and evening cook's shift is 1:30 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. (work schedule/shift will be adjusted, when necessary, to meet the needs of Milner Community Health Care and/or residents' needs).
