Cook / Chef Job at Bensonhurst Center
Bensonhurst Center (Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility is looking for Cook/Chef to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.
Responsibilities are but not limited:
- Follow recipes and prepare dishes
- Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables
- Basic cooking functions such as preparing sauces, soups and stocks
- Label stock and inventory all ingredients
- Temperature Logs must be maintained on the daily basis
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate and listen to team members
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
- Experience as Cook/Chef for minimum of 3 years
